The internship comes with the responsibility of critical mining the data, creating socio economic models which lays the foundation for decision making and execution. You would have direct input in determining what neighborhoods in the state are in need of rehabilitation based on statistical findings. You would be working directly with the CEO and COO of the non-profit.
We see undergraduates and graduate students with backgrounds in Criminology, Psychology, African-American/Hispanic Studies, and Sociology as great candidates for this position, however, we will consider other majors as well.
The hours are very flexible based on your availability. This is a very rewarding internship as you would be directly involved in the strategic decisions being made on a state level in determining which neighborhood(s) should be rehabilitated This internship will provide a unique opportunity to stand out, further develop your skills, and have a massive positive impact on a state and national level. Each member of our team is key in creating new hope for the children and the struggling communities, reducing the risk of future riots and saving the lives of residents and police officers in our efforts to help improve the low-income ethnic neighborhoods..
